Wonder Trail needed a bailout.
Now it has one, and it’s name is Wasabi
(Spicy Green trail, get it?)
After months of behind-the-scenes work by the City of Ashland, Ashland Parks and Rec, RVMBA, volunteer trail workers, and some fine trail-building by Earthworx LLC we have a new bike trail!
Saturday, May 20, 2023 was the grand opening ride on the new downhill-only bike trail called Wasabi!
Wasabi is designed for beginner to intermediate bikers but is spicy enough for all riders to enjoy, with 3 optional technical features for advanced riders.
Access the trail by riding up Lower Wonder, then take the first early access point to get a quick lap in. Take the higher access point to get the full Wasabi experience.
Wasabi is a wide and flowing trail spicy enough for experts but gentle enough for beginners
RVMBA, City of Ashland, and Ashland Parks and Recreation collaborated to fund and bring Wasabi to life. It was a lot of work and your membership and encouragement helped make it happen. Thank you!
