The story behind the new BTI

BTI trail is one of the highest traffic trails in the Ashland Watershed and it needs yearly maintenance. In 2023, after riding essentially the same trail for years, our Trail Director decided it needed more than just a new coat of paint - so after several sponsored work days from True South Solar, Handlebar Ashland, Welburn Electric, and Ashland Mountain Adventures, BTI is a different game with some killer berms, new lines, and additional challenges.

There’s a “Lily Pad” jump at the top a.k.a. a “jump-on/jump off” to challenge your bike handling skills, new berms, new jumps, new flow, and less pedaling.
