With money raised from our past raffles and additional funding from our reserves, our total budget is now $150K. This project will be going out for bidding soon, so stay tuned for further updates. We're really hoping to break ground this coming Spring 2025 as soon as the snow melts and before things dry out.

The Story
Mt. A-line is a fire road to downhill trail conversion project on the most beat up, hazardous section of the Ashland watershed trail system.
From idea to planning and permitting, this project has been more than 7 years in the making. The trail will be beginner-friendly with a bike-only downhill trail with a progressive jump line and a parallel multi-use trail for uphill riding, hiking, and running.
This project will not only add safety for riders and hikers but will also help the environment as this will improve drainage and reduce runoff. We want to convert the worst mile into the best mile and we need your help.
The application is fully approved and shovel-ready, the ball is in our court and is up to us as the community to make this happen. The project will cost an estimated $150,000 with funding from private donations and grants.
This trail will create a significantly improved experience above the iconic Ashland watershed trail network. This project will certainly bring more mountain bike enthusiasts into town and boost the local economy. The completion of the "Mt A-line" will lead to a safer and more enhanced experience for all users, on bike or on foot.
RVMBA is working hard to bring you the best trails possible.
