Mountain Biking Day

RVMBA supports IMBA and partners with Ashland DEVO and the BLM to host Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day.

The event is held at Mountain of the Rogue (MOTR) and free to the public.

An expo is held in the main venue with wildlife experts from the BLM, Public Lands bike mechanics, a bike decorating station, snacks and food, and bike games.

Ashland DEVO leads group rides for all ability levels. Scroll down for group ride details!

TAKMD Group Rides

**All participants must sign Ashland DEVO waivers (3 signatures) to participate.

Current (2024) DEVO Riders do not have to sign**

Beginner ride

***Youth participants must have parent riding/walking/running alongside. No unsupervised beginners! ***

  • Departs from trailhead at 10:30, ride ends at 11:15

  • 2nd Ride departs at 12:15 ends at 1:00

  • Approximately 200 feet of climbing

  • Route: Ratpack to Easy Money, then Ratpack to Paydirt for those wanting a little more

Intermediate ride

***Youth participants parent participation HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! ***

  • Departs from trailhead at 11:45, ride ends at 12:45

  • Approximately 600 feet of climbing

  • Route: Ratpack to PB&J/Cartwheel

  • Riders MUST be comfortable on these specific trails to ride with the Intermediate group.

  • No first timers - please join the beginner ride if you haven’t ridden at MOTR.
