Give Back To The Trails That Have Given You So Much

2020 has been a tough one. Amid a year filled with challenges, what have you done when you needed to recharge, seek solace, find connection, or simply get in a workout? For many of us, the answer has been straddling our trusty carbon or steel steeds and heading up into our local trail networks to clear our minds and have some fun.

As mountain bikers and cycling enthusiasts, we know we’ve got something special with our trails here in the Rogue Valley. Our trails ride well all year long! They can be accessed quickly and easily no matter where you live and the Ashland Watershed Trail system finishes right in downtown. How many times have you leaned-in to the beautiful berms on Jabberwocky, found your flow at MOTR, or done a few laps at Cathedral Hills this year, and how important are those trails to your overall happiness living in this wonderful community? We know our trails are invaluable. In fact, if the Rogue Valley had no mountain biking trails we know some of you would not choose to live here. They are that important.

RVMBA facilitates thousands of hours each year of trail building, trail maintenance, and trail advocacy to ensure we always have fun and ecologically sustainable trails to ride. We work with landowners and land managers to create and ensure long-term access to our trails. We work with our local governments to make sure mountain bike friendly policies and decisions are made. And we are tirelessly working to bring more to trails, parks and mountain biking themed events to our community.

Because of you, we have low costs and incredible volunteer support to accomplish many of our goals. However, tools, professional planning, trail building and all the other things required to maintain and build new trails come with a cost.

We are writing to ask you to invest in your community, invest in mountain biking and invest in your own joy by making a donation to the RVMBA so we can keep doing our work. We’ve got strong momentum on a number of exciting projects for 2021 and your donation will help bring them to life while also maintaining the amazing network of trails we already have. Whether it's $50 or $1,000, everything helps.

We deeply appreciate your support and will continue to work hard for you and our trails in the Rogue Valley.
